Hopkinton State ParkWelcome to Outdoor Recreation of Hopkinton (ORH). We are located within Hopkinton State Park, a 1500+ acre complex with a spring fed 175-acre lake and three islands to explore, miles of trails, open fields, two swimming beaches and many beautiful vistas to enjoy. Hopkinton State Park is a fun and safe location to enjoying boating of all types. The town of Hopkinton is a beautiful New England community with 14,000 residents, just 30 miles west of Boston, 45 minutes north of Providence, two hours east of the Berkshires, and one hour north of Cape Cod. The home to the Boston Marathon and EMC Corporation, the town attracts a lot of attention throughout the year. Within twenty miles of Hopkinton State Park there are over fifteen locations for extensive trail riding, rock-climbing, mountain biking (the infamous Vietnam trail is only five minutes away) hiking and lake swimming.
